This is an example of a complex machine. The benefits of 3D CAD and software simulation could not be better demonstrated when the machine produced a perfect product the first time it was turned on.

The components in this tool are milled from stock before each face was ground to a tolerance of 0.001mm (0.000039"). The tool consists of over 30 components that were fastened together for greater maintainability.

These two marine components were sent to us by a customer but unfortunately they were too corroded to make an economic repair. The adjacent images show the replacement components that were fabricated from machined blanks, welded together and delivered just a few days later.
Small or simple jobs can be just as important as large complex machines and tooling. The image to the right shows a simple adaptor used in conjunction with a hydraulic cylinder to remove the propeller from a fishing vessel. This simple tool didn't cost much, but it saved the customer many hours and thousands of dollars in dry dock fees.
